I have always been involved in fitness since a young age and was a keen footballer playing for various football teams. It was when I stopped playing football that I developed a passion for Thai Boxing, at which I trained to intermediate level. It was doing this type of training, with the emphasis being on bodyweight exercises (strength and conditioning) that I highlighted the advantages of doing calisthenics (push ups, pull ups, planks etc) and its functionalities in regards to everyday life.
I gained my fitness instructor qualification (Level 2) at Hillsborough College in Sheffield. I then attained a teaching qualification (ptlls) to be fully competent to teach adults and children.
I now teach calisthenics to adults and children in my community to promote fitness and wellbeing but also with the ethos that hard work and dedication can achieve results in anything in life.
